Who is Ami Mizuno?

​

Ami (aka Amy) was known as the shy, smart kid that hoped to become a doctor like her mother one day. In her home life, Ami was raised and lives with a divorced mother who is never home and all that is known about her father is that he was a painter.

​

Amongst her friends, Ami is the gentle one who always loves to study and tries to get Usagi's grades higher than 30's. She loves romance stories and pop culture but becomes very embarrassed when another person comes to realize this. Ami is awakened with the help of Luna and joins Sailor Moon as Sailor Mercury.

Ami as Sailor Mercury:

The Soldier of Justice and Wisdom, Sailor Mercury joins forces with Sailor Moon to protect planet Earth from it's enemies.

 

Sailor Mercury is portrayed as the brains amongst the scouts and uses a computer and a special pair of glasses, to help the scouts fight. Her powers are based around water and she wears this colour to symbolize it.
