Tuxedo Mask is Sailor Moon's savior! Always has been and always will be - 90's anime, manga, and Sailor Moon Crystal (minus the rose (it will be sadly missed)). He comes to Sailor Moon's rescue almost by mistake and continues to come. He appears in Volume 1 of the manga and Act 1, giving Sailor Moon courage to fight the youmas.

Tuxedo Mask hides his identity wearing a mask over his face and in the Japanese version, is called Tuxedo Kamen. He wears a tuxedo and a cape and is often seen soaring through the air in Sailor Moon Crystal.

He is looking for the Legendary Silver Crystal in hopes that his memory will be restored.

Tuxedo Mask

Mamoru Chiba is the man behind the mask, even though he wears reading glasses and sunglasses everytime him and Usagi bump into each other. In the manga he is a college student, in Sailor Moon Crystal they've knocked him down to a Sophomore in Moto-Azabu Private High (I guess to make it a little easier on the heart strings) . They still kept him without his memories like in the manga and on the hunt for the Legendary Silver Crystal in hopes to remember who he was.

Like Usagi, he keeps having dreams of a past he thinks he should know and unlike the girls who remember growing up in this new life, he doesn't. When he was five he was in a car crash and doesn't remember a thing.

Mamoru Chiba

Prince Endymion is the name Mamoru had in his past life. He was in a forbidden love with the Moon Princess, Serenity, and after a war broke out was sent to be reborn on Earth.

Not much is known about Prince Endymion in Sailor Moon Crystal or about Princess Serenity, but the story is about to unfold in episodes to come.
